By now probably everyone in the LA literary community is aware that Vroman's Booksore is purchasing Book Soup; both independent bookstores and literary landmarks.
The sad news is the passing of prolific mystery author Stuart Kaminsky, Sept. 29, 1934 - Oct. 9, 2009.
